One star is too much for this place. This place and its staff has no class. If you are handicap at all, go somewhere else. This staff is judgemmental and questions your handicap status. Maybe they should share their medical license with members. Linda and her staff are rude, arrogant and heartless. We recently spent time in a thousand trails camp resort in PA and heard how bad this staff and place is. They out did their bad reputation. Thousand trails should remove them from their list, as they will loose members.
Great park! Secluded by the harbor, but no direct access from the park. The two ponds on the site are fish-able, but we caught nothing. A couple kids next to use caught a bass, not sure what they were using though. The seasonal campers are all very friendly here. The staff is phenomenal and super friendly! I heard they have a couple slips at the harbor if you want to bring a boat too. Also, about a 10 min drive to Colonial Beach from this site. The beach is no gem, but there are a few restaurants on the beach worth trying. One at least with live music and great atmosphere.
Great place to camp while visiting the Northern Neck area of Virginia. Wonderful, accommodating staff. Could not have been more helpful in making our complex camping reservations. Only negative (for some) No WiFi or cable. (We didn't care, but it's the only reason we did not give it 5 stars.) Mostly shaded sites with concrete patio. Some sites a bit crowded but they do a great job at keeping the campground neat and clean. Large, Well-maintained pool & deck. Great stay.
Nice little campground. The pool is decent and perfect for cooling off in the summer time and they have a kids pool. Campsites are decent and has trees all around for shade. Campground has 2 small playgrounds but they do the job. Prices need to be changed, for the campground and things they offer do not add up to the price they want. Over priced.
Completely unreasonable to work with. The park manager thinks her stuff don't stink . I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay there. I live next door to the park and I recommend my friends to stay at the Monroe Bay Campground or Oak grove campground.
