Awesome gym, great people, owner will spend money to enhance equipment as needed....that says a lot. Colonial Beach just keeps getting better and better, great foodie places, music and tiki bars and now a great place to burn it all off.
This gym is absolutely awesome! My family own a house in Colonial Beach so it is super convienent for us. My boyfriend and I can't go a day without lifting and it is perfect for our summer trips. Great equipment, super friendly staff, awesome atmosphere.... And lighting :) I wish I could rate this gym more than 5 stars. We look forward to working out at River Gym every time we visit!
I love this place. When we first moved to Virginia last fall we were looking for a place to work out and we were so excited to find such a progressive gym in such a friendly little town. All the classes are included and the staff is so knowledgeable. Since joining I've dropped 14 lbs and gained considerable strength. I really look forward to the gym now after avoiding it most of my life.
Great gym for the size and location. Can't beat $7 day pass. Closest gym to Dahlgren that I could find. Some interesting equipment including the tire flipper. Friendly staff.
